Seller's description

Belongs to Richard Fortus of Guns and Roses. This is the amp he got by mentioning that he was looking for one in one of our videos when we were selling his collection. He ended up with two and is selling one of them. It was cleaned up and serviced by his good friend and amp guru Obeid Khan. Extremely rare amp. It's unknown, but some sources suggest less than 250 were made. Used by the Rolling Stones in early recordings.   The following specs were carefully collected and recorded by a skilled technician. For a more detailed description and questions regarding sound, feel, or cosmetic condition, please call to speak to one of our experts. Summary Head/Combo/Cabinet: Combos Amp Electronics: Tube Amp Speaker Configuration: 1x12 Speaker Details: Celestion Alnico Cream Speaker Wattage Range: 20-39 Watts Power Tubes : EL84 / 6BQ5 Tube Details / Playability: 12AX7 (5), EZ81 (1), EL84 (4), EM87 (1) (indicator for tape echo monitor) Amp Condition: This vintage amplifier is in good condition with wear consistent with its age. The covering is worn, and the hardware has a strong patina. Modifications and Repairs / Playability: A power cable has been hardwired and capacitors in the power section have been replaced. The speaker has been upgraded to a Celestion Alnico, and the tweeter has been disconnected. The back panel has been recovered, and the mic mount has been removed. The hole for the mic mount has been plugged in the top of the cabinet. Serial Number: 200155 Amp Details: The tweeter is mounted in the cabinet but is not connected. The amp can run on European AC power only (200, 225, and 250V taps on power selector), and requires a step up transformer for operation.
