Developed in collaboration with Jefferson Starship and Starship guitarist Craig Chaquico, the EA26 signature model adapts traditional acoustic soundboard design to a feedback-resistant thinline format tailored for amplified performance. Constructed with a solid spruce top featuring distinctive florentine soundholes, the instrument is paired with figured maple back and sides and a comfort-contoured thinline body depth. The mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard appointed with custom pearloid crown inlays and 21 frets across a 25.5" scale length. Amplified output is driven by an onboard active piezo pickup and preamp system incorporating a 4-band equalizer, notch filter, and master volume control, backed by gold-plated die-cast tuning machines and a rosewood bridge.
