Seller's description

Vox AC15HWR1 Hand-Wired Greenback Guitar Amplifier Few amplifiers have shaped music history like the VOX AC15. The AC15HWR1 Hand-Wired Greenback continues that legacy with meticulous hand-wired construction, a vintage-accurate circuit, and a Celestion Greenback speaker for punchy, mid-forward tone and earlier breakup. Ideal for players seeking classic VOX chime, richer mids, and dynamic tube responsiveness. Classic Tube Tone with Modern Control Powered by EL84 tubes, the AC15HWR1 offers 15 watts of British tube tone with natural “sag” response and expressive touch sensitivity. Hand-wound transformers, 12mm birch ply cabinet, and the Greenback speaker produce warm lows, throatier mids, and harmonically rich overdrive for both clean and cranked sounds. Two Channels, One Legendary Voice Normal Channel: Warm, thick tones with a Bright switch for clarity. Top Boost Channel: Iconic VOX chime and drive, with tamed highs for greater control. BOOST Switch: Adds midrange growl and gain to push the Greenback speaker beautifully. Lush Tube Spring Reverb Built-in spring reverb is powered by its own tube circuit and transformer, producing rich, smooth reverb. Level and Tone controls plus footswitchable bypass make it versatile for live or studio use. Transparent Effects Loop FET-buffered FX loop preserves your core tone while integrating pedals cleanly, even under drive. It can also be fully bypassed for a direct signal path. Stage-Ready Features: 15W EL84 tube power for studio or small to mid-size stages Rear-panel outputs for extension cabinets or attenuators Responsive break-up for dynamic playing at lower volumes Hand-wired craftsmanship for authentic vintage tone Key Highlights: Celestion Greenback speaker for mid-forward tone Hand-wired 1960s-style copper panel circuitry Two channels with Bright, Top Boost, and BOOST switch options Lush tube-driven spring reverb Transparent FET-buffered effects loop 12mm birch ply cabinet for authentic resonance The
