Seller's description

The VOX AC15 Hand-Wired The VOX AC15 Hand-Wired is a 15 watt, two-EL84 combo that brings the sound of the original ’60s AC15 back to life with modern refinements for the stage and studio. VOX started with a 1963 “copper panel” AC15 and rebuilt it with hand-wired circuitry, custom transformers, and a 12mm birch ply cabinet. A single 12" Celestion Alnico Blue delivers the warmth and sparkle, and a newly designed power circuit recreates the classic voltage sag for natural compression and sustain, while staying quiet and reliable. Two Channels The Normal channel offers midrange warmth with a Bright switch, and the Top Boost channel delivers the iconic VOX chime and British crunch with separate Treble, Bass, and Volume controls. The Boost switch, found only on the AC15 in this series, adds gain and a rich midrange overdrive. Reverb and FX Loop A genuine tube-driven spring reverb with Level and Tone controls comes with a VFS1 footswitch for instant bypass. The FET-buffered effects loop keeps your pedals pristine even when the amp is pushed, and it’s fully bypassable. The Look A copper control panel, brass vent grills, and the classic VOX badge celebrate VOX’s heritage.
