Seller's description

Timeless simplicity and a devastating sound; Vintage's V120MR Icon was born straight from the classic Mahogany body / Mahogany neck plus single "soapbar" pickup school of design, and the result is an incredible sounding, and surprisingly versatile single cut guitar that's impossible to put down. Employing a single W90SK pickup and straight ahead circuitry, the V120 provides good, honest musical tones night after night - detailed and chiming, but ready to growl with a twist of the volume knob or a heavy right hand. A Wilkinson GTBCR compensating bridge provides superb intonation all over the fretboard, while tuning stability is ensured by way of Wilkinson WJ15 Deluxe machine heads, and a superbly smooth and well cut Graphtech NuBone nut. A classic Vintage ‘soft C’ neck profile provides instant comfort, speed, and accuracy, while the 12" radius Lignum Rosa™ 22 fret fingerboard enhances the great feel of this simple masterpiece, which by way of playing technique and tone / volume controls is capable of providing a wide and versatile range of sounds. No gimmicks, just plug in and chew the grit. Play on. What Vintage say: Even with knocked about visuals, you can help but want to cherish this new V120 in Distressed Gun Hill Blue-over-Sunburst. This new colour-over-colour finish, works harmoniously to deliver a unified work of art. But it’s the no nonsense, tried and tested one pickup format that so many down to earth players will adore. They know just how many sounds you can get from one hot, tone-filled pickup and an all mahogany construction. Added luxuries include descending bass side body shoulder, offset heel for improved fretboard access and distressed Wilkinson hardware, including that awesome Wilkinson W90SK pickup. The superb sound and playability of Vintage V120 ICON Series of electric guitars highlights the Vintage design team’s endless and relentless quest for innovation, authentic tone and outstanding playability.
