A 1978 Musicman Sabre II has just arrived!! The Sabre was once manufactured by Musicman, a company founded by Leo Fender, the founder of Fender. Its ash body and maple neck/fretboard—a classic 1970s-style wood combination—evoke the spirit of that era. You can also see many of Fender’s signature design elements throughout, such as the long-scale 22-fret configuration and the Micro-Tilt system. The Sabre II is equipped with an active circuit, featuring a master volume control, a two-band EQ (treble and bass), a Bright switch, and a Phase-Out switch.
