Kramer is a guitar brand that reached its peak in the 1980s. It's beloved by musicians in genres like hard rock and metal. This is a 450B, featuring the aluminum neck design that symbolizes the brand in the 1970s. All the potentiometers are dated 1978, so the manufacturing year is listed as 1978. The body wings are walnut, and the body center block is likely a walnut and maple laminate. The neck is primarily aluminum laminate, and the fretboard is likely ebony. The unique look, a mix of wood and metal, is very appealing. Although this model lacks a truss rod, it has been refretted by GIB and is in good condition, ready for long-term use. The pickups are original. Controls include neck pickup volume, bridge pickup volume, neck pickup tone, bridge pickup tone, and a pickup selector. It has a relatively simple passive circuit design. This bass boasts a tight, powerful low end, a big, imposing midrange, and a dull, metallic high end. It's a loud, high-volume bass with the charm of a classic instrument. The frets have approximately 95% remaining. This model does not have a truss rod. The neck is in good condition. The body and paintwork show some dents and scratches, indicating signs of use.
