The Maranello Speedster, featuring a matching headstock in the same color as the body, with racing stripes that really stand out. This is the Maranello Speedster from Italian Guitars, known for its distinctive models and original designs with a retro vibe. It features an alder body, a hard maple neck, a heel-less joint, a rosewood fingerboard, and a Wilkinson WVC humbucker pickup, along with an up-around bridge, a three-dimensional resin panel, and a 2-volume/1-tone control configuration. This is the blue model used by MAMI of SCANDAL around 2011 during the SCANDAL LIVE TOUR 2011 “Dreamer” and other live performances—a truly striking instrument. It shows signs of use (including discoloration, scuffs, playwear, picking marks, buckle marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws). It was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and fret edge finishing). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise; its operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
