The TEJ-95S is a top-of-the-line model in Fernandes’ long-running TEJ series, featuring a TL-shaped body with a Concorde headstock and equipped with a Sustainer and a two-point tremolo system. It features a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The pickup is a VH-4, and the control section includes one volume knob, a sustain volume knob, a Sustainer on/off switch, a sustain selector, and a DET-1 tremolo system with a roller nut. The tremolo arm is missing, and there are signs of wear (discoloration, weather cracks, paint chips on the lower part of the body, scuffs, playing marks, picking marks, buckle marks, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60° (currently set slightly tight).
