The FERNANDES TE-95HT, a highly popular model named after Tomoyasu Hotei. Based on its specifications—including the headstock shape, neck, 16.5-fret joint, and gold-lettered F.G.I. logo—it appears to be a later-production model from 1994 or later. This Telecaster-style model catches the eye with its unique headstock shape and the lines painted on the body. It features a rod cover with gold lettering reading “TOMOYASU HOTEI” and F.G.I. pickups with gold logos. The joint position on the 6th string side and the line specifications also align with the characteristics of later models; while documentation to pinpoint the exact year is limited, it is believed to be a model from 1994 or later. Its appeal lies not only in the look that symbolizes the Hotei sound but also in its stage presence. This is a guitar we highly recommend to anyone who plays songs by BO WY or Tomoyasu Hotei’s solo work. There are signs that the position of the upper strap pin was once changed; the hole has been filled and touched up. Traces of this repair remain. There is paint peeling on the lower part of the back of the body. There is paint cracking below the 6th-string tuning peg post. There are concentrated playwear marks in the picking position, and the gloss has dulled. In addition, there are scattered scratches and dents, giving the guitar a slightly used appearance. There is a reverse bow in the center of the neck and a forward bow near the low frets, resulting in slight twisting and waviness. This has been corrected through fretting, and while there are currently no issues with playability, the frets are slightly low.
