The Heritage '92 H150 Goldtop is a handcrafted, American-made solid-body electric guitar that blends vintage aesthetics with modern playability. Built at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Heritage guitars are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to preserving the legacy of classic guitar design. The H150 Goldtop, modeled after the iconic Les Paul design, stands out with its timeless gold finish and delivers the rich, resonant tones associated with some of rock and blues’ most iconic recordings. Constructed with a solid mahogany body and a carved maple top, the H150 produces a warm, balanced tone with excellent sustain. The mahogany body provides a full, resonant sound with a rich low-end, while the maple top adds clarity and brightness, making this guitar versatile across a wide range of musical styles, from classic rock to blues and jazz. The Heritage '92 H150 is equipped with Suhr Thornbuckers, which provide a thick, punchy tone with plenty of midrange power. These pickups excel at delivering the signature Les Paul-style sound, from thick, creamy leads to powerful, crunchy rhythms. With a traditional two-volume, two-tone control layout and a three-way pickup selector switch, players can easily shape their sound, moving seamlessly between warm neck tones and biting bridge pickup aggression. A mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth, fast playing experience, making the H150 comfortable for both intricate solos and chord-heavy rhythm playing. The guitar’s medium-jumbo frets and 24.75" scale length contribute to its playability, providing easy bends and comfortable action.
