Seller's description

The Metropolitan Series TM5E guitar is built for players who demand a commanding sound, reliable performance, and refined style. Its dreadnought body shape delivers the bold projection and deep resonance that have made this design a favorite among musicians for decades. With a strong low end, crisp highs, and a rich midrange, it offers a versatile tonal range that works equally well for flatpicking, strumming, or more delicate fingerstyle playing. The larger body ensures that every note rings out with clarity and volume, making it ideal for both stage performance and studio recording. At the heart of the TM5E is a spruce top, chosen for its lively, responsive tone and excellent dynamic range. The back and sides are made from koa, a wood known for its warmth, balanced overtones, and striking grain patterns. Using high pressure laminate (HPL) construction for the top, back, and sides adds durability and stability, ensuring the guitar maintains its sound and structure even through changes in temperature and humidity. The natural satin finish brings out the beauty of the koa while giving the guitar a smooth, comfortable feel that enhances playability. For amplified performance, the TM5E is equipped with the Tanglewood TEQ-G3 EQ system, delivering a natural and accurate representation of the guitar’s acoustic voice. With easy-to-use controls, players can fine-tune their tone for any venue, from intimate coffeehouse sets to large stages. The combination of premium tonewoods, durable construction, and high-quality electronics makes the Metropolitan Series TM5E an instrument that inspires confidence. It offers the full, robust sound that dreadnought players love, with the added benefit of dependable onstage amplification. From its resonant acoustic presence to its elegant aesthetic, the TM5 is designed to be a faithful companion for years of music-making.   Range | Metropolitan | Body Shape | Dreadnought | Top | HPL Spruce | Back | Koa | Sides | Koa | Fingerboard | Eb
