Seller's description

The T-Rex Binson Stereophonica is a modern, fully analogue take on the legendary Binson Echorec, reimagined for true stereo operation. Built around a real magnetic drum like the original units heard on countless ’60s and ’70s recordings, it captures the distinctive rhythmic repeats, pitch warble, and mechanical character that made the Echorec so unique, now spread across a wide stereo field. With multiple playback heads that can be blended and balanced independently, the Stereophonica excels at complex, evolving delay patterns that feel alive and three-dimensional. Speed changes introduce natural pitch shifts, while Swell mode transforms the drum delay into lush, ambient washes that verge on reverb. Flexible connectivity, MIDI control, and expression inputs make it equally at home in vintage-inspired rigs and modern, experimental setups.
