Seller's description

Quick Product Summary The Suhr Shiba Drive is a smooth, dynamic overdrive designed to provide warm rhythm tones, rich classic-rock drive and sustaining lead sounds while retaining clarity and low-end definition. This used example is in Good condition, showing cosmetic signs of previous ownership and regular pedalboard use. With Drive, Level and Tone controls plus a three-position Smooth switch, the Shiba Drive can be tailored easily to different guitars, pickups and amplifiers. What Makes the Suhr Shiba Drive Special? The Shiba Drive is designed to respond naturally to picking dynamics and changes to the guitar's volume control, allowing it to move from pushed-clean sounds through bluesy crunch and into smooth, sustaining overdrive. Its three-position Smooth switch alters the high-frequency response. The centre position provides the most open response, while the outer settings introduce different degrees of high-end roll-off for warmer single-coil sounds, thicker rhythm tones and smoother lead textures. Who Is It For? The Shiba Drive is ideal for guitarists looking for a polished, amp-like overdrive that can work with both clean and already driven amplifiers. It suits blues, rock, fusion, country and contemporary guitar styles particularly well, and also works effectively as a gain-stage or boost alongside other overdrive and distortion pedals.
