Quick Product Summary The Spector Icon NS-5 Neck Through brings the classic Spector formula to a powerful extended-range 5-string platform. Its three-piece maple neck runs continuously through the body, joined by alder wings and topped with highly figured quilted maple beneath the striking Black and Blue high-gloss finish. A highly figured quilted maple top and Black and Blue gloss stain give this version a particularly striking boutique-inspired appearance. The electronics are equally performance focused. Dual custom-voiced Aguilar DCB soapbar pickups provide balanced response across all five strings, while the Aguilar OBP-2 active preamp adds onboard bass and treble boost or cut. Combined with volume and pickup blend controls, the NS-5 offers considerable tonal flexibility for stage and studio use. Who Is It For? The Icon NS-5 Neck Through is ideal for bassists who want the classic Spector neck-through feel combined with the extended range of a 5-string instrument.
