From the listing
dragonfly's original model, the HI-STA CUSTOM 666. Featuring a flame maple top paired with an alder body, this guitar boasts a beautiful grain pattern that’s sure to catch your eye. It features a maple neck with a pearwood fingerboard, making it a custom model meticulously designed to complement the body. Its most distinctive feature is the 666mm scale length, which is longer than that of a standard guitar. Compared to the typical 648mm scale, this design makes it easier to maintain string tension and produces a well-defined sound even when down-tuned. It is equipped with Dragonfly’s original DFS-1, DFS-1R, and DFH-5B pickups. Additionally, it features GOTOH dial-style Magnum Lock tuners, ensuring stable tuning and ease of string changes. In addition to its unique scale design, this custom model showcases meticulous attention to detail in both the wood and electronic components. It is a guitar built with Japanese-made components that offers a distinct character, setting it apart from standard Strat-style models. The knobs appear to have been replaced. There is a crack in the front pickup cover. The metal parts show some tarnish. There are some minor scuffs, dents, and scratches, but no particularly noticeable damage. There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches are present, but the guitar is in good condition for normal use Serial Number: X18036S Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case Accessories: Tonearm, wrench, spec sheet Weight: 3.52 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement up to 60 degrees to the left and right has been verified with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String action (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 43.0 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 21.2 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 22.7 mm Scale: 666 mm (26.2")
