The Sterling by MUSICMAN CT50X HSS has arrived. This is a value-priced version of Musicman’s popular Cutlass model. It features a poplar body, a roasted maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. While retaining the basic specifications of the CT50 HSS—which blends traditional and modern elements, such as a 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale length, locking tuners, and a vintage-style tremolo—the CT50X HSS has been updated with a more modern style, featuring newly developed modern HSS pickups, a push/push mid-boost control, and white pearloid block inlays. Although there are signs of use, such as minor scratches and slight dents, the guitar has been inspected and fully adjusted by a professional technician upon arrival and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with the original soft case, a tremolo arm, three springs, and a wrench.
