Seller's description

It’s no exaggeration to say that the RAT is the gold standard of distortion pedals; its sound can be heard on many historic albums. This is an early model from the highly popular 1980s “Black Face” era—a U.S.-made model with a straight-sided enclosure. Based on the pot data, it has been confirmed to be manufactured in 1986, and it features a Motorola LM308N IC. It is characterized by a distortion with a pleasant roughness and density unique to that era. Externally, there are scattered minor scratches and dirt from normal use, but it functions perfectly. Condition: B (Has scratches but is in good working order for normal use) Accessories: None Notes: Equipped with a Motorola “LM308N.” * POT DATE: 1986
