The J-Standard MYTHIC (JMY) from Fuji String Instruments, renowned worldwide for its advanced craftsmanship and OEM manufacturing capabilities. This is the Fujigen J-Standard MYTHIC JMY-AL-M, manufactured in 2016. It features an alder body, an asymmetrical slim U-shape 5-piece maple/wenge neck, a maple fingerboard, jumbo frets (C.F.S.) with “J-Standard Fret Edge” treatment,pickups include a Seymour Duncan Sentient and a Seymour Duncan Nazgul; it features volume and tone controls (pull-type coil tap), GOTOH Magnum Lock tuners, an FGN FJBR-STD bridge, and an FGN FJTP-STD tailpiece. This model offers a wide range of tones, from aggressive sounds to clean tones via coil tap, and boasts excellent fit and playability. The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins (gold pins with black locking hardware); there are signs of wear (scratches, playing marks, picking marks, tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage). The case is a non-original bass case. It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
