Seller's description

A vintage "RAT Black Face LM308N" from the Black Face era, still brimming with the RAT's signature charm It’s no exaggeration to call this the gold standard of distortion pedals; its sound can be heard on many historic albums. This is an early model from the highly popular 1980s “Black Face” era—a U.S.-made model with a straight-sided enclosure. Based on the pot data, it has been confirmed to be manufactured in 1986, and it features a Motorola LM308N IC. It is characterized by a distortion with a pleasant roughness and density unique to that era. It shows signs of use, such as peeling paint and scuffs.
