K.Yairi LAPIS Pink Diamond From the "LAPIS" series, created to commemorate the 90th anniversary of K.Yairi, the Pink Diamond—with its striking, elegant color—has arrived. Inspired by the gemstone pink diamond, this delicate and elegant pink hue reveals different facets depending on the angle of the light, exuding a presence that stands out on stage. This is a special instrument that gently yet vividly reflects the individuality and sensibility of its owner. The LAPIS series was created by returning to the fundamental joy of playing the guitar and incorporating the sensibilities of young artisans. Thanks to its easy-to-hold original shape and compact, lightweight body design, even beginners can enjoy playing without strain. Its appeal lies in its maneuverability, making it a comfortable companion for long practice sessions or relaxing at home. The solid spruce top delivers transparent high frequencies and a natural response. The mahogany back and sides provide solid support for warm mid-to-low frequencies, producing a rich, balanced sound despite the compact body. The neck is also made of mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge use highly durable ebony, ensuring stable tuning and reliable playability. With a 635mm scale length and a 42mm nut width—a design that fits comfortably in Japanese hands—it accommodates a wide range of playing styles, from chord strumming to delicate arpeggios. It’s perfect not only as a first guitar but also as a backup or a casual, portable instrument. Additionally, it comes standard with an ARTEC A1 (contact-type/passive) pickup. Simply connect it to an amp or PA system, and it’s ready to go for live performances and jam sessions. It preserves the nuances of the acoustic sound while offering a simple, user-friendly system that adapts flexibly to any stage environment. The LAPIS Pink Diamond combines the meticulous craftsmanship and reliability unique to Japanese-made instruments with the special presence befitting a 90th-a
