Seller's description

In 1976, prior to the launch of the Compact Series, BOSS released the CE-1 Chorus Ensemble—its first effects unit and the world’s first “chorus pedal.” Created by isolating the chorus/vibrato unit from the legendary Jazz Chorus (JC Series) guitar amplifier, its beautiful sound went on to become the global standard for chorus effects. It remains a highly sought-after classic analog stereo chorus pedal to this day. As the first effects pedal to utilize BBD (Bipolar Bit-Depth) technology, it offers a warm, analog sound unlike any other. It produces a unique and distinctive chorus and vibrato effect.
