From the listing
This is the SJY-1A, a 2013 collaboration model between K.Yairi—which produces world-renowned acoustic guitars in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture—and a local music store. Based on the JY model, this round-shoulder guitar features a solid spruce top, oban-kore sides and back, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a 635mm scale length with a nut width of approximately 43.5mm, and Kluson-style tuning pegs and a large pickguard. This model is characterized by its clear, rich tone and is a highly appealing instrument thanks to its excellent playability. It shows signs of use (cosmetic damage such as minor scratches and scuffs around the perimeter, wear and playing marks, picking marks, a ring mark on the back of the neck, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws). It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string action adjustment). The fret tops are at a height that does not interfere with playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°. Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use. Serial Number: 54945 Year of Manufacture: 2013 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Hard Case Accessories: Instruction Manual Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement tested up to 60 degrees in both directions with no problems Fret Wear: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.9 mm at the 12th fret String height (treble side): 2.3 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 43.5 mm Scale: 635 mm (25") Strings at Setup: D’Addario EJ-16 / .012-.053 set Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
