Virtually Unused! The Hermes Full-Size & 20F “70” Series Has Arrived! The new “70” Series has arrived, featuring a full-size body, a 20F neck, and ’70s-style pickup placement—each element blending “exquisitely” to create a distinctive tone. Unlike the standard Hermes series with its versatile specifications, this model incorporates traditional ’70s specifications throughout, delivering rich lows and crisp, dynamic highs. The 4-string model features a slightly more pronounced 10″ curved fingerboard, making it easy to produce comfortable ghost notes and enabling players to achieve the powerful “chop tone” that many envision. The 5-string model features a familiar 12″ fingerboard, enabling smooth yet powerful playing. It delivers a sound with a strong presence across a variety of genres. To accommodate a wide range of playing styles and musical genres, the string action is uniformly set across all fret positions, delivering a powerful tone for aggressive picking and a warm, enveloping tone for gentle, sweeping fingerstyle playing. The body features a full-size shape that absorbs sharp, powerful input to produce a commanding tone. It boasts the boundless, rich bass characteristic of a full-size body, creating a thick, warm, and natural wooden resonance. Ash is used for the body. Its dry, punchy tone blends exquisitely with the rich, powerful tone inherent in the full-size shape. The bridge pickup features a ’70s-style placement, positioned closer to the bridge. When mixed with the neck pickup, it produces a clear, crisp tone. Additionally, when fingerpicking with your fingers resting on the bridge pickup, your picking position naturally shifts toward the bridge, allowing you to produce a tight, wel
