From the listing
This is the KG Pirates, a discontinued model from Killer. This is the value-for-money series of the KG-Prime, known for being used by Akira Takasaki of LOUDNESS. It features a SEN WOOD body, a one-piece U-shaped maple neck, a single volume control and pickup selector, and a TRS-101 tremolo. Despite its unconventional shape, it boasts a well-thought-out design that delivers excellent playability. The back panel is missing, and there are unevenness and gaps in the skunk stripe section. The body has extensive damage overall, including scratches, playwear, dents, and chipped paint. Metal parts are tarnished; there is rust on the pickup pole pieces and screws; the pickup bobbins are cracked; and there are fine scratches on the back of the neck and paint peeling and discoloration on the sides of the fingerboard. The volume pot is stiff. It has been cleaned, fully adjusted, and had its frets leveled since arrival. Condition Grade: B: Shows significant wear and signs of use, but is in good working condition for normal use Serial Number: 14486 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Soft case (pocket zipper handle is damaged) Accessories: Tremolo arm Weight: 3.51 kg Truss Rod: No issues; rod movement up to 60 degrees on both sides has been confirmed and is normal Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String action (treble side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 42.6 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") Strings at Setup: 09-42 Repairs and Maintenance Performed: Cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string action adjustment, fret leveling * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, and other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
