We’ve just received a used EURO 5 LX from Spector’s “EURO Series”! Crafted in a Czech workshop, this 5-string model is the flagship of the EURO Series. It features Spector’s signature sleek body shape, rich sustain from its through-neck construction, and a powerful, commanding sound. This model features a European alder body paired with a beautiful figured maple top, a 3-piece maple through-neck, a rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, and a 35-inch scale. It is an active model equipped with two EMG 40DC pickups combined with a Spector TonePump preamp. The control layout consists of four knobs: Neck Pickup Volume, Bridge Pickup Volume, Bass Boost, and Treble Boost. By individually mixing the two pickups while boosting the low and high frequencies, you can enjoy a wide range of sounds, from a tight, powerful low end to a punchy attack. The truss rod functions properly. The finish shows some dulling due to use, and the bridge also has some dulling. There is a crack in the finish near the plate on the back of the body. There is a scratch approximately 5 mm long near the end of the back of the body. The strap pins have been replaced with locking ones. The original strap pins and locking pins (on the strap side) are not included. With its striking appearance and powerful 5-string sound characteristic of Spector, this is a captivating instrument that stands out on stage.
