Seller's description

A mini electro-acoustic guitar from Maton in Australia! An Australian guitar manufacturer whose predecessor, Maton Stringed Instruments and Repairs, was founded in the 1940s and became the Maton Musical Instruments Company in 1946. This is a mini-sized electro-acoustic guitar. The body features a solid spruce top and Queensland maple sides and back. It features double-X bracing on the top, ladder bracing on the back, and a rosewood bridge. The Queensland maple neck, with a nut width of approximately 44 mm and a short scale length of 577.8 mm (22.7″), is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard. The headstock is equipped with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners. It is equipped with an AP5 Original preamp. All-satin finish. Made in Australia Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop! There are two parallel cracks on the body top beneath the bridge; they have been glued and treated to prevent further cracking. Additionally, there is a crack on the inner side of the pickguard, which has been glued, treated to prevent further cracking, and finished with a matte coat. In addition, the frets have been leveled, and the nut and saddle have been adjusted. Although the frets have been leveled, they still retain sufficient height for playing. In addition to the repairs mentioned above, the top still shows signs of previous repairs (including crack-stopping) from a crack running from the end of the fingerboard to the top of the soundhole, as well as marks where the bridge was re-glued. There are also buckle scratches on the back. The back of the neck has developed a sheen from playing. There are also marks at the base of the headstock that appear to be from a stand. The area under the nut has been shimmed. Overall, there are numerous dents, scuffs, scratches, and playing marks; while there are significant signs of wear, aging (such as paint wear and discoloration), and repair marks, the instrument’s playability remains excellent. A great guitar for both indoor and outdoor us
