Seller's description

An original British-made distortion pedal that recreates the drive sound of Marshall amps! Marshall The Guv’nor is an iconic early Marshall distortion pedal that debuted in the late 1980s.Characterized by amp-like, powerful distortion and a thick midrange, it produces a drive sound ideal for hard rock. In addition to Gain, it features a 3-band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble), allowing for a wide range of tone shaping. Its unique design, complete with an effects loop, is another appealing feature. This is the original UK-made model, highly recommended for those seeking to capture that signature Marshall sound in a pedal. It shows signs of use, such as scratches and stains, but functions perfectly. The foam padding on the bottom of the unit has deteriorated. Upon arrival, we detected poor contact and crackling, so we had a specialist replace five potentiometers and two jacks. Note: Unit only Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 09015 * As this is a used item, there may be scratches, dents, or other imperfections that are not clearly visible in the photos or not listed here.
