Seller's description

The Whiteface RAT is now in stock. This is an early version of the classic RAT distortion pedal, beloved by countless musicians both in Japan and abroad. It’s a model from the period known as “Whiteface.” Based on the pot date, this unit is believed to be from around 1985. The thick, edgy, and well-defined distortion sound is unique to this pedal. Compared to the current RAT, there are notable differences in the presence of the mids and the tightness of the lows. It’s in relatively good condition with few scratches or rust, and—believe it or not—it even came with the original box!
