From the listing
Zodiacworks / TC-HOTEI 35th Anniversary Black Line. The TC-HOTEI 35th Anniversary is a limited-edition reissue commemorating the 35th anniversary of Tomoyasu Hotei’s debut. There are six variations, with only 35 units produced for each, making this an extremely rare instrument. This particular guitar bears the Black Line serial number 0014. It is equipped with EMG-HOTEI CUSTOM pickups—custom-made pickups commissioned from EMG that differ from the standard SA model. The tuners are made by GOTOH and feature the “Gitarhythm” logo, while the neck joint plate bears an “Anniversary” engraving and the serial number. Key specifications include a maple/alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard. The back panel is made of aluminum—both to prevent the panel from warping due to the internal battery and to reduce noise. In terms of noise reduction, this provides a higher level of shielding than a PVC panel with an aluminum overlay. It is equipped with the original ZGB-I bridge, which features a machined brass plate and brass block saddles. Not only is this a collector’s model, but as a handmade guitar that generously embodies Zodiac’s craftsmanship, it is a highly appealing instrument. There is a small dent accompanied by a crack in the finish next to the bridge, but otherwise, the guitar is in good condition with only minor scuffs and small dents. Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use Serial Number: 0014 Country of Manufacture: Japan Case: Genuine hard case Weight: 3.31 kg Truss Rod: No issues; checked up to 60 degrees to the left and right with no problems Remaining Fret Life: Within normal range; fret height is sufficient for playing String Height (Low String Side): 2.0 mm at the 12th fret String Action (Treble Side): 1.5 mm at the 12th fret Nut width: 43.0 mm Neck thickness near the 1st fret: 20.8 mm Neck thickness near the 12th fret: 21.8 mm Scale: 648 mm (25.5") RADIUS: 381 mm (15") Strings at Setup: D'Ad
