Seller's description

Santa Cruz OM-213 Custom (1992) – Indian Rosewood & Sitka Spruce – Torch Inlay – Mint Condition This Santa Cruz OM-213 Custom 1992 — also searched as Santa Cruz OM 213, Santa Cruz Custom OM, SCGC OM, used Santa Cruz OM, or Santa Cruz Orchestra Model — is a rare early custom-built Orchestra Model from Santa Cruz Guitar Company, completed in 1992 and featuring beautiful premium appointments. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides, this OM offers the rich, complex character associated with a high-quality rosewood Orchestra Model. It delivers excellent balance across the strings, deep but controlled bass, warm and detailed mids, clear trebles, and outstanding note separation. The comfortable OM body provides an excellent combination of projection and responsiveness. It is particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, but has enough headroom and dynamic range for flatpicking, light strumming, recording, and accompaniment. What makes this OM-213 Custom particularly special are its elegant custom appointments. The headstock features a beautiful Torch inlay, while the fingerboard is decorated with elaborate Style 45-inspired inlays, giving the guitar a much more luxurious appearance than a standard OM while retaining the understated elegance associated with Santa Cruz instruments. Completed in 1992, this guitar comes from an earlier period of Santa Cruz Guitar Company production and represents the boutique, small-shop craftsmanship for which the company became renowned. This Santa Cruz OM-213 Custom (1992) is in mint condition, exceptionally well preserved for a guitar more than three decades old. It presents beautifully and is an especially attractive instrument for both serious players and collectors looking for an uncommon early Santa Cruz Custom OM. ⸻ Specifications – Santa Cruz OM-213 Custom (1992) Brand: Santa Cruz Guitar Company Model: OM-213 Custom Year Completed: 1992 Body Size: OM / Orchestra Model Top: Solid S
