I’ve been known to put a little bit of the ol’ jazz sounds into my noggin. Miles. Coltrane. G. The staples. When I heard “Kind of Fuel” (the Midwest’s premier jazz-interpretations of Fuel band out there) let’s just say I wasn’t having a “bad day.” I wanted my extended ninths to “shimmer” like theirs, and that “falls on me” to get the best gear I can. Unfortunately, I’ve had a terrible accident and can’t really listen to too much jazz anymore. I was nearly beaten to death by a man with a saxophone, and the PTSD is too much to bear. A shame, really, as I was just getting my own group of “cats” together in the group “A Live Supreme” ripping up some of the smoothest jazz version of Live songs you’ve ever heard. Some of our (now ex-) girlfriends were at practices and their placentas nearly fell to floor with how good we were. Anyways, the reverb doesn’t work on here. Never used it because this is a pedal platform amp and I always had my own reverb going on. The chorus/vibrato works — that’s all that matters. This doesn’t have the EV speakers in it, unfortunately. The speakers are just some no name things with plain black backs that sound perfectly wonderful. Pickup in South City St. Louis, but I’m back to Dubuque, IA next month and can meet you there or between. Willing to trade +/- cash for: Vox AC15 with Blue speaker, some other dumb Peavey stuff I might not have already (Razer, Generation, Cropper, Vandenberg, etc), a white leather jacket, a sick knife, a sick wizard statue, a bunch of bolo ties, low wattage (20w or less) tube amps, a WWF winged eagle replica belt, the special Tall Girls edition of Playboy from 1991, or some Butthole Surfers shirts (medium).
