RHD Guitars (Robert H. Davis) Handmade Lap Steel – Dual Seymour Duncan Pickups hardshell case and Stand. This is a beautifully crafted RHD Guitars lap steel by English luthier Robert H. Davis, a boutique builder known for hand-made instruments produced in small numbers. This lap steel guitar reflects that tradition with superb attention to detail, quality materials, and excellent playability. The instrument is fitted with dual Seymour Duncan pickups, offering a wide tonal palette—from warm, smooth sustain to bright, cutting lead tones. Perfect for blues, country, ambient, and experimental styles. Key Features: Hand-built lap steel from RHD Guitars (UK boutique maker) Dual Seymour Duncan pickups for versatile tone shaping Excellent sustain and resonance High-quality finish and hardware throughout locking machine heads Includes stand (ideal for stage or studio use) Condition: Excellent condition with minimal signs of use; “Bob was Welshman from Swansea, he hand-made everything on his custom build guitars except the Tuners - he even constructed the Rosettes himself using naturally coloured woods. He only made 4 or 5 classical guitars in his career. The lap steel has Seymour Duncan pups (custom wound)  and the best tuners he could find - he had intended to keep it for himself- but being a classical student, he couldn't find the time to learn”  Why This Guitar? Boutique lap steels like this are rarely seen on the market. Compared to mass-produced models, this instrument offers a more refined tone, unique character, and the individuality of a hand-built guitar.
