Seller's description

When you think of mighty sound in a compact form, the Peavey JSX Mini Colossal Guitar Amp is the amp that comes to mind. Crafted in collaboration with the legendary Joe Satriani, this all-tube, Class A amplifier defies its size with a robust five watts of power, making it an ideal choice for both practice and recording. The heart of this amp lies in its 12AX7 preamp tube and EL84 power tube, delivering a warm, authentic tone that blooms beautifully when pushed. What sets the Mini Colossal apart is its built-in Power Sponge output attenuator, which allows you to achieve that coveted tube saturation at lower volumes without sacrificing tonal richness. Whether you're looking for shimmering cleans or gritty overdrive, the gain and master volume controls give you complete command over your sound. Plus, the onboard tremolo with adjustable speed and intensity adds a vintage flair to your sonic palette. For guitarists who love to record, the XLR direct output with mic simulation ensures that your recorded tone retains the depth and character of a live session. This feature makes the Mini Colossal a perfect companion in the studio, capturing every nuance of your performance with clarity and precision.
