The Orange O-Tone 40 Guitar Combo Amplifier is a 40-watt solid-state combo built for guitarists who want a strong clean foundation, simple traditional controls and genuinely useful onboard effects without moving into a menu-heavy modelling amplifier. Built around a single-channel JFET preamp and Class A/B power section, the O-Tone 40 delivers its sound through a custom 12-inch Orange Voice of the World speaker. Its clean, responsive character makes it particularly well suited to pedalboards, while three-band EQ gives you straightforward control over the core voice of the amplifier. Where the O-Tone 40 becomes especially interesting is its combination of footswitchable JFET tremolo, spring-inspired digital reverb, fully buffered effects loop, CabSim headphone output, Aux input and line output. It is simple enough for everyday practice but equipped to handle rehearsals, recording and smaller live performances.
