Seller's description

The MXR Slash Octave Fuzz is a unique and powerful effects pedal designed in collaboration with Slash, delivering an aggressive blend of fuzz tones with added octave effects. Combining a silicon-based fuzz circuit with both sub-octave and octave-up capabilities, it allows players to explore rich, layered textures ranging from heavy, growling lows to searing highs. The pedal features separate controls for each octave section, giving you the freedom to dial in everything from subtle thickness to full-on synth-like chaos. In use, the Slash Octave Fuzz shines with its versatility and musical character. The sub-octave control adds a deep, bass-heavy growl that thickens up riffs and chords, while the octave-up effect brings a cutting edge that makes leads and single-note lines jump out. True bypass switching ensures your tone stays unaffected when the pedal is off, and internal trim pots allow further fine-tuning of the octave fuzz voicing, making it highly adaptable to different setups and playing styles. For players looking for a standout fuzz that pushes sonic boundaries, the MXR Slash Octave Fuzz is a compelling option. Its rugged build quality is ideal for stage use, and it offers a wide tonal palette that inspires creativity. Whether used to create heavy, thunderous rhythms or wild, octave-drenched solos, this pedal brings a bold and unmistakable character to any rig.
