The MXR Bass Distortion is the ultimate solution for bass players seeking big, gnarly tones with all the low-end power they desire. Developed in collaboration with bass dirt expert Ryan Ratajski of Fuzzrocious Pedals, this pedal takes a classic and nasty sounding distortion circuit and reimagines it for modern bass players. Traditionally, bassists who wanted to use a distortion pedal while preserving their low-end had to resort to splitting their clean and dirty signals between two separate amps. However, with the MXR Bass Distortion, that complication is a thing of the past. This pedal gives you complete control over your clean and distorted tones, all in one place, with separate Dry and Wet level controls. This means you can easily blend the right amount of clean and distorted signal to achieve the perfect mix, all with a single pedal. The MXR Bass Distortion also features a Tone control, which exclusively affects the distortion signal. With this control, you can fine-tune the high-end frequencies, dialing back the top end to get the precise tone you desire. On the other hand, the LED setting uses LED diodes, providing a more wide-open and dynamic sound with a nice gain bump. This versatile feature allows you to tailor the pedal's response to suit different playing styles and musical genres. Whether you're looking to add some gritty edge to your bass lines or unleash roaring and powerful distortion, the MXR Bass Distortion can handle it all. From punchy rock tones to heavy metal mayhem, this pedal delivers the goods, all while pres
