The Analog Man 'King of Tone' overdrive pedal is a modern classic. This extremely revered, dual-channel design is held in as high esteem as other overdrive icons like the Klon and Marshall BluesBreaker; renowned for its versatility and warm, organic gain characteristics. Despite the KoT's huge popularity, Analog Man still remains a small independent pedal builder that can only produce a modest amount of units per year leading to a whopping 5-year waiting list! And don’t be afraid to get creative — the Duke of Tone overdrive is excellent when stacked with other gain pedals, and running the pedal on 18V will give you an extra helping of headroom and clarity, especially in Boost mode. A Tone-Accurate Recreation Analog Mike personally tested and matched all of the various thru-hole components to the King of Tone overdrive, ensuring that the sweet sonic seasoning stays in the line of succession.
