Seller's description

The Multivox Big Jam SE-7 Delay Machine is a rare, vintage analog delay pedal made in Japan and built around the classic MN3011 and MN3101 Bucket Brigade (BBD) chipset. Produced in the late 1970s to early 1980s, the SE-7 delivers warm, rich delay tones with a musical, natural decay that only true analog circuitry can provide. Unlike digital delays, the SE-7 adds subtle modulation and saturation to repeats, creating lush echoes that enhance solos, rhythms, and ambient textures alike. The MN3011 chip is known for its multi-tap delay capability, which gives the SE-7 a distinctive, almost chorus-like spatial depth. Combined with the MN3101 clock driver, this pedal offers a beautifully vintage sound with a character all its own. The SE-7 features straightforward controls for Delay Time, Repeat, and Level, making it easy to dial in slapback delays, atmospheric trails, or rhythmic echoes. Its compact and sturdy housing is part of the iconic Big Jam series from Multivox, a brand celebrated for its creative pedal designs during the golden age of Japanese effects. This specific unit, serial number 01763 M, is in excellent working condition and has been fully tested. It’s an outstanding addition to any collection of analog gear, and a perfect choice for players seeking that unmistakable BBD warmth and character.
