Mesa/Boogie Rectifier Standard Oversized 4×12 Cabinet – 1997 Celestion Vintage 30s – 444 Cones A superb Mesa/Boogie Rectifier Standard Oversized 4×12 speaker cabinet, loaded with four British-made Celestion Vintage 30 speakers dating from 1997, all featuring the desirable 444 bass cones. The Rectifier Standard is one of Mesa/Boogie's most recognisable cabinets, renowned for its substantial oversized enclosure, enormous low-end response and tight, aggressive character. This particular example has an interesting speaker configuration, fitted with Celestion T3903 Vintage 30s rather than the Mesa-specific Vintage 30s more commonly associated with these cabinets. Although not the Mesa OEM versions, these are still highly regarded British-made Vintage 30s from the 1990s, offering their own distinctive character and making this a particularly interesting combination. Celestion Vintage 30 – T3903 – 1997 The cabinet is fitted with four Celestion Vintage 30 T3903 speakers, each with an 8-ohm impedance and carrying the 09FG date code, dating them to 1997. The speakers also feature 444 bass cones, a particularly interesting detail that distinguishes these examples from other Vintage 30 variants. The 444 cone specification is associated with Celestion's bass-resonance cone family, offering a different tonal character from the more familiar 1777 lead-cone designs.
