Seller's description

The Maxon FL-301 Flanger is a sought-after vintage modulation pedal, prized for its warm, analog character and rich, dimensional sweep. This rare 18V version, made in Japan and known for its expanded headroom and exceptionally low noise floor, delivers a smooth, musical flanging tone that has earned it a cult following among collectors and studio players. Equipped with Rate, Depth, and Regeneration controls, the FL-301 offers a wide palette of textures, from subtle tape-like movement to pronounced jet-engine sweeps. The increased voltage supply allows for greater clarity and dynamic response, making this early Maxon circuit especially versatile for guitar, bass, and synthesizers. Its sturdy Japanese construction and classic green enclosure reflect the high-quality engineering associated with Maxon’s late-70s and early-80s output. As one of the rarer FL-301 variants, this 18V model stands as both a musical tool and a collectible piece of effects-pedal history, appreciated for its reliability, tonal warmth, and unmistakable analog charm.
