Seller's description

The Matchless Hot Box is a valve-driven dual-channel preamp designed by Matchless founder Mark Sampson. Built entirely with point-to-point hand wiring, it delivers genuine tube gain and response in a compact format, offering everything from rich cleans through to harmonically complex overdrive and classic British-style crunch. Unlike many drive pedals, the Hot Box functions as a true tube preamp, providing substantial gain, dynamic response, and the touch sensitivity associated with vintage Matchless amplifiers. Features Dual-channel operation Clean and Crunch channels Fully valve-driven circuit Point-to-point hand-wired construction 120V Power - requires step-down transformer.
