Seller's description

Matamp 4x12 Speaker Cabinet – Blonde Tolex – Celestion Blue Alnico Loaded – 8 Ohms A seriously impressive Matamp 4x12 cabinet finished in classic Blonde Tolex and loaded with four legendary Celestion Blue 12” Alnico speakers, wired to 8 ohms. This is a proper heavyweight cab in every sense — huge tone, exceptional build quality and fitted with some of the most sought-after guitar speakers ever produced. The Celestion Blue Alnico drivers are the real magic here. Famous for their rich harmonic detail, fast response and unmistakable vintage British character, these speakers deliver everything from shimmering cleans to gloriously compressed overdrive. Expect sparkling top-end chime, warm vocal mids and a beautifully smooth breakup when pushed. They retain clarity and articulation even at volume, with that unmistakable “3D” feel that players chase but rarely find. Originally developed from the iconic speakers heard on countless classic British recordings, Celestion Blues have become the benchmark for players wanting authentic vintage tone with touch sensitivity and musical compression. They react dynamically to your playing style — clean up beautifully with the guitar volume rolled back, then bloom into harmonically rich saturation when driven harder. It’s the reason they remain one of Celestion’s most revered and desirable speaker models. The cabinet itself is built exactly as you’d expect from Matamp — solid, resonant and road-ready, constructed from quality 18mm ply for superb low-end response and projection. It has only seen light home use with very minimal running hours on the speakers, so the drivers are still beautifully fresh and tight, ready to open up even further with use. The previous owner removed the front badge for a cleaner understated look, but make no mistake, this is every inch the premium Matamp cabinet underneath. Fitted with castors for easier transport and movement. We may also have a fitted slip cover available for it — if purchasing, just r
