The LPD Seventy4 Overdrive is a boutique, hand-built all-analog stompbox inspired by the iconic tones of early-’70s British Plexi amps. Built in Mesa, Arizona, it delivers rich midrange, lush harmonic overtones, and a strong low-end presence that’s highly tunable—a favorite for players chasing that vintage, amp-like crunch. The gain structure is expressive and dynamic, offering a wide range from tight rhythm grit to smooth lead sustain. This mint-in-box unit comes complete as new, ready for use or display. It features straightforward controls: Gain adjusts saturation level, Tone shapes overall brightness, and Level sets output volume. The pedal incorporates true-bypass switching—often using soft-touch relay bypass—for transparent signal integrity when off. With very low current draw (around 20 mA at 9 V DC) and compact, lightweight design, it’s ideal for minimalist pedalboard setups or travel rigs.
