Seller's description

The Original Series was Lowden’s first series in 1976, with the O model being the original design by George Lowden. Lowden’s Original Series offers a choice of body shapes and tonewood combinations. The 21 series uses Sitka spruce for the top with walnut back and sides. The natural look of the guitar is further enhanced by beautiful details such as the maple binding and multi-layered purfling and rosette. The ebony fingerboard and rosewood headstock overlay adorn the five-piece neck, a typical style element of Lowden guitars. The O-body shape lends itself perfectly to drop tunings, and here the fascinating sonic capabilities of this guitar come to the fore. Deep resonant lows are accompanied by sparkling clear highs, allowing the guitar to approach the complex sonic palette of a piano. In addition to its sonic splendor, the O21 is adorned with special anniversary features. Inside, a unique 50th Anniversary label marks its value. The Lowden O21 50th Anniversary is not just an instrument; it is a work of art, a collector's item and a testimony to Lowden's half-century of dedication to craftsmanship. Don't miss the chance to own this unique piece, a true gem for any discerning guitarist or collector! This Limited Edition Lowden comes in a luxury Ameritage case.
