Seller's description

We've had the pleasure of playing a lot of Lentz guitars over the years, and this one-piece ash body example delivers everything we've come to expect from a Lentz: meticulous build quality, a fat but comfortable neck carve, and a slinky, easy feel that makes it very hard to put down. The first thing you notice when you strum a chord is the resonance. Few builders we work with turn out instruments that feel this consistently alive. Players often talk about the "Lentz feel," and it is a big part of why these guitars have such a devoted following. It is hard to reduce to any single spec. It comes from the way the neck, the body, and the setup all work together under your hands, and you will understand it within a minute of picking this one up. At rehearsal or stage volume, these guitars really opens up, with depth and dynamic range that respond to how hard you dig in. The tone controls are genuinely useful, letting you dial the guitar in to suit your rig. The bridge pickup has punch along with a chimey top end, a little like a Tele bridge pickup with a touch of P90 character. The middle position is a real workhorse, and the neck pickup is fat and round without losing articulation. Clean or driven, it does both beautifully. Plenty of players chase the perfect Strat through the vintage market, a search that can take a year or two and cost several times as much. This Lentz gives you much of what makes those guitars special, and it is ready to play today.
