This is a holy grail guitar for Van Halen collectors. It was crafted by legendary Kramer luthier, Paul Unkert, and is one of a handful of guitars that Paul made after he left Kramer and produced one-off custom builds based upon his EVH Kramer guitars. Paul shared that he modeled this guitar after the Hot For Teacher guitar that he built for EVH. Paul personally built, painted and assembled every aspect of this guitar, including all hardware and electronics, in addition to its handcrafted banana-shaped headstock, using the same wood supply that he used on his Kramer necks for Eddie Van Halen. Both the neck heel and body are stamped "UNK", accompanied by Paul's signature and date in the neck pocket. This guitar is catalogued in Paul's build ledger and is in completely original, excellent condition. A true work of art and sound from the master luthier.
