This is a very unique bass and we have not seen any others like it. Bass is finished in an original white color and remains in excellent condition for the age. Only some minor scratching and scuffs near the input jack but besides that there are very little signs of wear on the paint. We personally have not seen ANY other DMZ 5000s in white, we have had a few people look at the bass and confirm that the finish is original. Of note, the bass also lacks the switches as seen on the DMZ 5000 basses. The bass came like this however and there are no signs that the switches have been removed and the holes patched. Also appears that at some point the J pickup might have been switched to the current EMG Select pickup its rocking, but we are unaware of the history on that so please do your own research regarding the pickup originality. Besides that the bass remains in great shape. No major damages or issues to the bass and it plays great. Ebonol fretboard is in great shape with no major chips. Features the iconic aluminum neck which does have a few chips on the back as shown. Bass electronics are passive. Please make sure to also view the video included in the listing for more info on the bass. Comes with a set of strings installed which look to be in great shape although exact life is unknown.
