Seller's description

The Korg TNB-1 Tone Booster is a rare vintage Japanese effect designed to enhance presence, clarity, and harmonic richness while preserving the natural character of the instrument and amplifier. Produced during the early era of compact guitar effects, the TNB-1 reflects the innovative approach of Japanese manufacturers in developing flexible tone-shaping tools with musical responsiveness. The pedal provides a clean boost with subtle tonal enhancement, helping to tighten low frequencies while adding definition and articulation across the frequency spectrum. Its character remains transparent and balanced, making it suitable for pushing an amplifier into natural overdrive or for improving note separation in complex chord voicings and melodic passages. Thanks to its vintage analog design, the TNB-1 offers a dynamic response that reacts naturally to playing technique, maintaining clarity and musicality across a wide range of styles. It integrates easily into pedalboard setups as a tone enhancer, signal driver, or subtle coloration tool for both clean and driven amplifier settings. Serial number 001085 identifies this particular unit as an authentic Made in Japan vintage example.
