Writing Keeley Tube Drive Twin Triode Dual Overdrive Experience authentic tube warmth and versatile overdrive with the Keeley Tube Drive Twin Triode Dual Overdrive, a premium dual-drive pedal combining a genuine high-voltage tube preamp with Keeley’s legendary Super Phat Mod overdrive circuit. Designed for players who demand expressive response and rich, harmonically complex tones, the Tube Drive delivers two distinctive gain stages that can be used independently or stacked for a wide range of sounds. At its heart is a genuine 12AX7 vacuum tube operating in a 168V circuit. Carefully selected, burned-in, and fully tested, the tube delivers warm grit, touch-sensitive breakup, and dynamic response. The tube section runs both triodes in series in Class A, feeding a vintage tweed-amp-style tone stack for a rich, musical overdrive character. Paired with the tube preamp is Keeley’s renowned Super Phat Mod circuit, providing punch, sustain, and thick, amp-like drive while preserving the clarity and character of your instrument. Use either side on its own or stack both for everything from subtle bluesy breakup to saturated lead tones and powerful rhythm sounds. A unique switchable effect-order feature lets you reverse the signal chain with a simple foot gesture, placing the tube preamp before the Phat Mod or vice versa. Selectable true bypass and Keeley’s silent buffered switching offer additional flexibility for different pedalboard configurations. A dedicated Remote jack supports external control of both drive sections, while the side-mounted connections keep your setup organized. The pedal also features a protective custom tube shroud and a replaceable 12AX7 tube for long-term versatility. Finished in a sleek matte-black design, the Tube Drive combines collectible aesthetics with professional-grade functionality. Designed, assembled, tested, and finished at Keeley Electronics in Oklahoma City, it brings together vintage-inspired tube character and modern pedalboard
